Nope. But I have to say I'm surprised too. Maybe it's just because I don't play that much, but I don't remember ever being able to see this far for example:
You can see this far in Sheath's screens too. Maybe you should ask him what it is.

But wait.. can you play a map like, say, 2p_Blood River and still see that far? What console commands do you run either dropping console down ingame and typing em OR running them automatically via the autoexec.lua ?
And see.. in each of your shots I see no distant Shroud/Cutoff so the map maker MUST have disabled it whereas official maps need to be edited first.

Now that you say it, I guess that must be it. See the winter screens, which are from Quest's Triumph.
